It seems the Pro Pinball games are being supported less and less. (Hardly surprising I suppose as the series is coming up to 10 years old).

Any other workingtips?Question: My friend bought the bulk pack from Interplay a while backand I noticed that the first one 'the Web' had no music tracks.(which I thought were very good) So I copied my original and he nowcan play with the music. Anyone know why this was the case?- Paul. Archived from groups: rec.games.pinball 'Paul Drabik' wrote in [email protected]. Thanks so much for posting these.

(which I thought were very good) So I copied my original and he now can play with the music. Anyone know why this was the case?Music on those is old-fashioned CD audio tracks, and I don't think it workswell with the current digital playback style of Windows XP either. So you'lllikely need to have an analog CD audio cable hooked up from the back of yourCD/DVD drive to your sound card (something that's been almost completelydropped lately).Or at least check your audio playback levels in the Windows sound mixer.- Daniel. Question: Is the Empire server required to do this? Any other working tips? It's a while since I played it but if I remember rightly, it doesn't have alocal link option and does need the Empire server (which they have switchedoff due to lack of interest). Don't forget to badger them by email! Question: My friend bought the bulk pack from Interplay a while back and I noticed that the first one 'the Web' had no music tracks.

Played audio from the CD.The later games installed it to the hard drive.CheersTim. Archived from groups: rec.games.pinball 'Paul Drabik' wrote [email protected]: Thanks so much for posting these.

Don't forget to badger them by email!I was wrong about this. You can link up PCs if you know the IP addresses. It uses Microsoft Direct Play. By all accounts it's a bit tricky to set upand doesn't always work.CheersTim.
